Everything was fantastic, marvellous location in the middle of the city, the staff were WELCOMING. Location: the hotel was close enough to a nearby restaurant, La Chaumiere at Arcqueville for the first evening, and Evreux where there is plenty of restaurants. It was a such wonderful stay, pretty place.

A weekend at a fairy tale! Imagine staying in a castle with impressive beams and lovely refurbished rooms. The amazing gardens and fantastic pool felt like a fairytale kingdom. Plus, the calm environment was perfect for a relaxed stay.
The remote location required us to drive a long way to find a suitable restaurant. And, unfortunately, it was a challenge for those with mobility issues due to the winding staircase.

Absolutely mind-blowing chateau with stunning grounds and lots of convenient parking. The super friendly owners welcomed us with delicious homemade apple juice. The luxurious buildings and beautifully decorated rooms with well-equipped bathrooms truly exceeded our expectations. We were treated to a fabulous dinner of local delicacies and local wine, and the breakfast spread was incredible with homemade jams, yogurt from a neighboring farm, fresh fruit, eggs, ham. The location is also perfect for a quick stopover before driving back to the UK, just under three hours from Calais. Free wi-fi in public areas, on-site car park, picnic tables, seasonal outdoor pool, tennis court, breakfast. Plus, no pets allowed and no smoking on site. a truly memorable and unforgettable experience!

I had a lovely stay at a picturesque countryside retreat. The relaxing atmosphere and beautiful grounds of Chateau D' made for a peaceful getaway. The manager, Paulette, was incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome. The pool was a highlight, perfect for lounging and enjoying the sunny weather. Although the restaurant options were limited, we were able to explore the nearby area and discover some hidden gems. I highly recommend this hotel for a tranquil and rejuvenating experience.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. the value for money was outstanding - we got so much more than we paid for. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive, from the beautifully refurbished stables to the clean and spacious rooms with their ancient oak beams. And thirdly, the staff provided exceptional service, offering us a cold drink on arrival and serving a fabulous breakfast with fresh bread and homemade jams and preserves. The location of this hotel, although far from the coast, offered breathtaking views of the scenic surroundings, providing a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. We can't wait to return to this special spot in the world.
There wasn't a single thing we found lacking during our stay.

The location of the chateau offers beautiful grounds and a peaceful atmosphere. the room and bathroom were elegantly decorated and spacious. Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and local produce. the swimming pool was a nice extra touch.
While the chateau had ponies and a donkey to look at, there were no other facilities available on location, and the nearest restaurant was quite a drive away.
